Happy Easter!

Colors!

The Hunt!

Hope your Easter was full of color, candy, family, and love. Most importantly I hope you celebrated your freedom through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Dizzy!

We went to the Asparagus Festival on Saturday in Stockton, CA. I didn't take many pictures, there were SO MANY people and I get a lil neurotic about keeping my hands on my kid when I'm shoulder to shoulder with thousands of strangers. It was a hot day! I have the third degree sunburn on my shoulders to prove it. The blisters are just coming in, so pretty (yuck.)

I did whip out the camera for a few shots of the kids on the teacup ride.

Too many giggles and screams not to capture!

I'm pretty sure this sister was trying her best to make her lil brother puke. We took a few steps back in fear of projectile vomit. The best part was watching some of these kids try to walk off after spinning non stop for 3.5 min's!
Hee, hee, hee.

New Buddies

These two are quickly becoming my favorite thing to photograph. Devin's daughter Millie is 5 and she is so cute and so fun. She and Elijah are becoming fast friends, which is awesome. I will warn you now...if you frequent my blog you will be seeing a lot of these two! But seriously, who wouldn't want to?

Photo's of GG

The family is fishing through old pictures of my Grandma Lynette for the

funeral. My mom scanned a few and sent them to me.

I adore old pictures of my loved ones so I had to share with you.

Check out what a stunning woman she was!

That cute lil boy is my daddy. Funny, I sort of see my son in his face.

Grandpa Stan with Grandma Lynette at my parent's wedding. I love these people!

This was Mother's day a couple years ago, the last time we were all together.

Two of the lovely people in this picture now reside in heaven.

Looking through all of the old pictures is bringing back memories and flooding

me with warm fuzzies, just another reason I love photographs so much.

Monkey's and Snake's

Just a lil animal fun from a recent trip to the Sacramento zoo.

Today I'm feeling a bit like I'm surrounded by some of these characters,

only on two legs with the ability to talk and type.

Monkey's and snakes at least.

I've been refraining from jumping into drama that isn't mine all day,

so I'll vent here with a quick "Hey, STOP IT! Your ugly side is showing!"

I feel better now. :)

For GG

G.G. went to heaven early this morning.

There is a bittersweet celebration in my heart. My grandma was ready to go home and be reunited with her loved ones in the presence of her Heavenly Father.

This will be the 3rd funeral for my family this year. We all have different ways of dealing with death. It's such a personal thing to process. In a situation like my GG where she's lived a long and fulfilling life and has suffered for years while her body outlived her mind it's easier for me to accept it as a good thing and celebrate her deliverance rather than mourn her loss. Her memory remains in each of us that love her.

I'll always remember her stylish leopard print 60's glasses and her schnauzers.

Kisses GG. Say hi to Grandpa Stan.

Noah is 1 (and some change!)

Amy wanted 1 year portraits of Noah but the non-stop rain kept pushing the shoot's bac. But we finally got some time together in the sun and got some adorable shots of her sweet lil man.
